Due to the fact the Swiss government used several different manufacturers to supply their armed forces with balaclavas; the colours and styles vary slightly as the listing photographs show. Although they differ in appearance, each item is made using wool of a very similar weight, thickness, and manufactured to the same high standards of quality. Colour will be supplied at random unless a specific colour/style requirement is agreed beforehand. Vintage 1970's/80's knitted balaclava manufactured for the Swiss Army. They are new old stock, which means whilst they have never been issued they have been in storage for a long time. They are made of wool-blend yarn and designed to keep your full head, face, and neck warm. This is a one-size fits all garment which fits over your head; very useful in the winter for keeping your full head warm in cold conditions.
