YELP Review: Jul 31, 2008 I came here for dinner inbetween shows at OSF with some friends, and we were seated at the counter because the dinner rush was in full effect. no big deal. however, our waiter was such a jackass. he repeatedly ignored us in favor of an actor from OSF, who I recognized, and who was polite and did not seem to be in any rush. He even stole our condiments and silverware and gave them to him! I realize we were just a couple of teenagers, but, c'mon! I don't really remember anything about the food either way, so no opinion there. After being treated so horribly, we decided after the bill came that rather than wait for our $.05 change, we would leave our shitty waiter no tip. We did so, and told our other group of friends we would see them down at the theatre. When we met up with them, they told us after they had payed their bill, and left a tip, he came out after them SCREAMING about how their friends left him a shitty tip. and that he "couldn't live on a $.05 tip!!!!" news flash asshole, that wasn't your tip! So like I said, it was a long time ago. I'm sure he has long since moved to another restaurant where he can deliver more ace service to their customers. maybe he was just having a bad day, but that experience has stuck with me, so take what i say with a biased grain of salt.
