Description: German Eagle WWII Mantel ClockThis is a wonderful piece of history, and a very rare and unique German mantel clock. This WWII German mantel clock has a light blue-gray full eagle, sitting on a dark blue stone base with a 2 ½ inch wind up clock in the center of the base. It is some type of ceramic. I do not see any markings on the inside. The clock works and keeps time but I would recommend a professional check it out and oil it. It runs about a day on a winding. The clock measures 11 inches high and9 inches at the widest point. There is some damage on the lower left side of the base and the lower left side of the wing at the tip. It has been repaired but visible at close look. This happened during when I shipped it home while stationed in Germany in 1969. Shipping in the USA is expensive. It will be bubble wrapped and boxed and boxed again.
