Description: This is a Ca. 1920's German Encased Postage Stamp, Merz Shoe Polish, in XF condition. Contains a Red 5 Pfennig Stamp and these presumably circulated much like the Notgeld Tokens of the era. Part of the upper left corner area of the stamp is exposed as some of the outer protective layer is broken away. Extremely scarce and really only known to a handful of individuals. Weighs about 1.72 grams. Should be a great value at our opening bid that includes postage.
