Randolph Trice of Richmond, Va 1997The author is the grandson of Irene Lanhorne Gibson, the original "Gibson Girl" and later influential political activistThere is a notation in the book stating that it was purchased in 2008 by Em Bowles Locker Alsop and that all underscoring was done by the previous owner (who obviously studied the book diligently) Mrs. Alsop was one of only 20 young women to be screen-tested for the role of Scarlett O'Hara in the movie, "Gone With the Wind". The notations by Em Alsop seem to match with her handwriting on other books.
