Description: Gibson SG Standard - 1980 - Cherry w/OHSC This is a 1980 Gibson SG Standard in dark cherry gloss nitro finish. Guitar has some nicks/ding/scratches and some tarnishing on the hardware but overall is still in very good condition. This one has a "Second" stamp on the back of the headstock which is usually from a cosmetic defect from the Gibson factory but at this point it's impossible to tell what that cosmetic issue was. The frets show some wear but are still even and it plays cleanly up and down the neck with nice low/easy action and no buzzes or issues. The strap buttons have been changed but otherwise it is completely stock and all pickups and controls work perfectly. This one has rare clear epoxy potted Gibson Bill Lawrence humbuckers which date to June 25 1980. The weight is 7.49 lbs. It comes in the original hardshell case.
