This pattern has been retired. These plates were made in France. The plates are in superior condition appearing to have seldom been used. There are no chips, no cracks, no stains, no haze, no crazing, and no gray utensil marks. One plate has a hair width scratch less than 1/4 inch in length on one of the blue stripes along the ridge. Another plate has two small (less than a pin head) dots of missing blue glaze. See pictures. If you are a fan of Faiencerie de Gien dinnerware, then you will want this set of plates. Part of the long loved and now retired pattern, La Ronde des Fruits pattern, these French produced dinner plates sport a crisp white background with a rim decorated with royal blue stripes approximately 1/8 inch wide. These stripes narrow slightly in width from the rim outer edge to the inner rim. The plate dimensions are 1-1/16" H, 10-3/4" diameter and weigh 1 lb. 4.8 oz. each. These items will be well packed in a heavy duty box to help ensure safe delivery.
