Up For Sale is a Graflex 4x5 Pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic + Carl Zeiss Jena 13.5cm f/4.5 Tessar Condition: For Parts/Repair/Display - Overall Appearance: Good, no signs of impact damage or abuse. Rangefinder and optical viewfinder have been removed. Serial No. 231848, made in 1938. - Shutter: Focal plane shutter works, needs maintenance or repair, curtain looks pretty good. Shutter arms and fires, speeds not consistent, shutter sometimes does not close. Leaf shutter on lens fires at one speed regardless of setting on dial. - Viewfinder: Only peep-sight sports finder. Spring bail and peep standard are in good shape. - Focus: Only by ground glass. Ground glass is in good shape for its age, no cracks or breaks. Needs cleaning. - Lens: Clean and clear. No haze, no fungus, minimal dust. Aperture control is very stiff, needs maintenance. Shutter not working properly as noted above. - Additional: Focusing extension rail is bent, does not allow front standard to be pulled out. Rail is brass, probably can be easily fixed. Camera is dusty and dirty from long storage. Aside from the missing viewfinder/rangefinder, it appears to be complete. Sold as-is for parts, repair or display, no guarantees. Please See Photos.
