Official Program of the Two Hundredth Anniversary Celebration. 1754-1954, Granville, Massachusetts, June 26-27, 1954. The pamphlet measures 6 x 9 inches, illustrated printed wrappers, front cover illustrated with b&w drawing of the Statue of Liberty, stapled binding, [ not paginated 20 pages includes covers], faint crease and light shelf wear to covers otherwise in very good condition, stapled binding is tight and intact, odor free. Illustrated with b&w reproduced photos of scenic views, text prints the Program of Events, outline of the 11 episode pageant This Is Out Town, and a complete list of names of the Celebration Committee. #2. 1900-1950 Fiftieth Anniversary of the Granville Public Library, Granville, Massachusetts. June 24, 1950. The pamphlet is a single sheet folded to make 4 pages measuring 5 ½ x 8 ½ inches, illustrated printed wrappers, front cover illustrated with b&w image of the library, faint stain and warping at bottom of the pamphlet otherwise in very good condition. Contents prints a brief history of the initial meeting to form a Library Club in 1896 and the subsequent fund raising to for construction, also list the names of the Members of the Granville Library Club in 1900. #3. Two typed pages titled Granville Substation with the names of the Fire Wardens, Observers, and Deputies for the towns of Granville, Blandford, Montgomery, Russell, Southwick, Tolland. Creased as found, some pencil notations light soiling otherwise in very good condition, odor free. Not dated but circa 1950s #4. Two Snap Shots which were laid into the Official Program of the Two Hundredth Anniversary Celebration. Granville. One is of a tractor pulling a trailer with a banner with Moon Ahead Leslie Greener printed on it. The other is of a huge drum on wheels with Noble & Cooley Co. Granville, Mass imprint on the side of the drum. Nobel & Cooley Co. started in 1845 and are still producing hand-crafted drums to every corner of the world This is a rare group of Granville, MA ephemera, absent from the trade, they will be a nice additions to your collection.
