The spine and corners of an even earlier binding are mounted to inserted leaf. Overall, the book is in Good Condition. The red leather boards have decorative gilt stamped edges. The boards have scratches, wear and staining. The edges are scuffed. The corners are bumped and torn and there is some wear/chips at the spine. Internally, there are 200 pages. There is browning and foxing to the pages. There is a bookplate pasted on the front end page by a previous owner. Some chips and nicks to some of the pages. Creases in some of the corners. Dampstaining (2 plates' images, lower margin of several others). There are pencil notes by a previous owner on the front end page. Other dings here and there.
