Description: Hi there and welcome to my auction for this H2O Helberg Kalmar 2 Mokume Gane. This watch is an incredibly rare, and typically of H2O Watches, it is over-engineered and will last a lifetime. Sold out now and not to be made again, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to own one of these watches crafted by Clemens Helberg of Germany. A watch any enthusiast should have in their collection. I have owned this watch from new, buying directly from Clemens in Germany. When I had it built, I paid extra and had an upgraded ETA2892 Top Grade movement installed. Total cost was €4400! It has hardly ever been worn and as such is as new. I believe these are sold out now and are becoming very difficult to source. The watch is unmarked and has the beautiful Mother of Pearl dial and the 8.25mm sapphire crystal. This is a 6000m rated watch, as is depicted on the case back. I am including an excellent 5 strap bundle. The watch comes with the beautiful brown handmade strap as supplied, with a Mokume Gane buckle. I am also including 2 additional leather straps, one is brand new and comes with the H2O bronze buckle, the other is a handmade leather, with the INCREDIBLY RARE MadDog bronze buckle. There are also 2 additional rubber straps, one an H2O strap and the other is an Isofrane style with stainless steel buckle. As with any used watch, please be aware that there maybe some tiny marks here and there, depending how close you magnify. Also, it is an automatic movement, which is fully mechanical, so timekeeping changes depending on the lifestyle and activity or the wearer. The patina is natural and sadly the photos don’t quite capture the beautiful contrast between the bronze and steel layers.
