Description: Hamilton 992 Model 1 16 Size 21 Jewel Montgomery Dial Pocket Watch ca. 1910. This antique Hamilton grade 992, model 1, 16 size open face pocket watch has a gold filled case measuring approximately 49.5mm in diameter x 2 3/4 inches long including bow. The case back was once hand engraved but has worn down due to age. The case has wear through and a light patina, as pictured. The front and back remove and replace properly with good threading. The white enamel Montgomery dial has black Arabic numerals, a red and black minute track, large blue spade hands, a double sunk seconds register at six o'clock and is marked "Hamilton". There is small chip near the seconds register and is in otherwise good antique condition. The crystal is in good condition with light surface wear. The inside case is stamped "Philadelphia Watch Case Co. - Guaranteed Twenty Years - 8775434". The nickel movement is stamped "Hamilton Watch Co. - Lancaster, PA. - 21 Jewels - 992 - Adjusted 5 Five Positions - Double Roller - 781137". All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. This movement has gold settings, and both ruby and sapphire jewels. Stem wind, lever set. This watch is running approximately 2 - 3 minutes fast per 24 hours. No guarantee of future performance.
