Hans Ulrich Rudel WWII German Stucker Pilot Iron Cross Signed Typed Letter

Description: Hans Ulrich Rudel [1916 1982] was a prominent German World War II ground attack pilot who was credited with the destruction of 519 tanks, a number of ships, the destruction of over 800 vehicles of all types and 9 aerial victories during 2,3650 missions. Rudel served exclusively on the Eastern Front flying a Junkers Ju 87 ''Stuka'' dive bomber and was the most decorated German serviceman of World War II and the only person to be awarded the Knight's Cross with Golden Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds. Listed for auction is a [TLS] typed letter signed by Hans Ulrich Rudel on his personal letterhead. The letter is dated 11.5.82, untranslated and signed ''Hans Rudel'' in blue pen. The letter also contains a handwritten postscript on the verso. The letter measures 6.00 x 8.50 inches, with trivial handling wear otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph of Hans Rudel is not common, the autograph is authentic, signed on his personal letterhead and is a nice example of this prominent German World War II pilot.
