These workers took extreme pride in their product and thus, Haviland enjoyed the reputation of being considered among the finest bone china in the world. In today’s dollars, the cost to produce quality such as found with this set would be astronomically high (Inflation since 1905??). This set was produced circa 1905 and is in remarkable condition. The set was owned by the national treasurer of The Methodist Church, USA and was apparently used very little.
