CONDITION: Our beautiful Cobalt 2 cup measure with reamer top is a striking piece. It is amazing that these wonderful Depression Era pieces survived at all when you consider the purpose for which they were made. This reamer set is the original 1930s Hazel Atlas version. It is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The cobalt color is amazing and the clarity of the reamer is fantastic. The original Hazel Atlas reamer is hard to find. It has been reproduced, but the reproduction is a bad imitation of the original version. It does not have the quality or the color of the older one. The cup has "Mixing and Measuring" embossed on the bottom. The number that we have listed is from a 1929 Hazel Atlas catalog ad. This beautiful reamer has wonderful cobalt color. Hazel Atlas Cobalt Kitchenware (1930s) - Hazel Atlas produced the largest line of cobalt Depression Glass kitchenware. This regular line included a one cup and two cup measuring cup (the two cup could be purchased with and without a reamer top), several sizes of reamers, a butter dish, mixing bowl sets, a lettered canister set, leftover jars, pitchers, and tumblers. In addition to the plain style kitchenware Hazel Atlas produced a patterned Kitchenware line called Criss Cross. The regular line pieces look great when paired with Criss Cross.
