Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Heathkit IT-12 or T-4 signal tracer. At this point these are around 60 years old, and the old parts are weak and failing, with leaky capacitors. We will make them new again! This kit includes replacement Chemi-Con, Nichicon PW, and Supertech MPT film capacitors. There is a replacement for the .01 uf cap, as well as individual electrolytic capacitors to replace the can cap. There is also a terminal strip to help mount the replacement electrolytics under the chassis. There is also a set of instructions included to explain how to install everything. You will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild vintage gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
