Description: I acquired a lot consisting of several of these mini glass hedgehog figurines. They are made of opalescent glass, which is called Opalite. Some sellers claim it to be a gemstone, but it truly is glass. It has a wonderful luminescent quality and refracts light to show "fire" when in bright light. These are hand carved, so no two are exactly the same, but they are very similar. The hedgehogs are approximately 1.8 inches long (47 mm) and 1.14 inches wide (33 mm) and 1.5 inches tall (38 mm). They weigh approximately 2.8 to 3.1 ounces or 80-88 grams. My photos were taken in bright sunlight. Shipping in the USA is included in the price. I am happy to answer your questions about this piece.
