Nice porcelain figurine from the Months of the Year series. Hand painted boy with a winter hat, green waist, and purple pants. Reads December in raised letting on the back of the base. Marked on the bottom with the Augustus Rex AR mark, which was used by Helena Wolfsohn between 1879 and 1883. Has repaired over painting from his hands to his elbows, probably to hide the fact that his axe and cup are missing. Does not appear to have any other damage. Measures approximately 1 7/8 inches wide x 4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. GRLW
