It has flowered in Southern California. It grows to about twelve feet tall. The undersides of its leaves are purple to red in color. The pendant flowers grow up to five feet long! They are a beautiful red, purple and white color. This is a stunning Heliconia that should do well in a lot of Southern California, parts of Florida and Hawaii. These are live plants grown from seed.
