Description: Selling my 1988 Heritage H-535. Guitar comes with hardshell case. NOTE: Shipping is high because in order to fully insure, I need to go direct through UPS so shipping is not discounted and even then, they told my it will cost $150 fully insured with signature. Insurance through ebay is only for $1000 or less. With that said, I am picking up the extra $51 shipping cost. NOTE: Guitar is in great condition, only one small modification made. NOTE: Guitar is being sold "AS IS" and there are no returns or refunds on this item ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I invite you to email me and ask any and all question for any clarification before purchasing. This guitar is in excellent condition except for one issue. On the high "E" you'll notice the nut was fill in and a new slot cut more inward. When I bought it, the high E was closer to the edge than I liked so I had a luthier cut a new slot for it. Other than that, the guitar is in the exact same condition as when I purchased it new in 1988. Only modification I made was I swapped out the tailpiece and replaced it with a Gibson TP6 fine tune tailpiece. I am leaving that on and the original is in the case. Only other thing I noticed was the top screw on the truss rod plate popped out. This could be from sitting too long so either it would need to be filled and redrilled or a slightly longer screw. No biggie, just thought I would mention it. I'm not too sure on the finish. I thought when I bought it the guy said it was a translucent Amber but not sure. I don't think they make this finish anymore but not 100% sure. I looked it over and it looks great for a 36-year-old guitar. Has been tested and everything works as it should. The neck on this guitar is unbelievably comfortable (in my opinion). I owned an ES335, and the comfort of the Heritage was much better, so I sold the 335. I haven't played it much as I had several semi hollow guitars. I really hate to sell this guitar because it's such a nice guitar. However, I am moving out of the country soon and because I really don't play anymore, I am having to sell off most of my gear. You will see I have many items for sale and my feedback will show other items I sold. Breaks my heart but, I would rather sell them, and someone use them than to take everything with me and just sit in the closet. I will tell you that it will probably need an adjustment. Although it plays fine even after all these years, you need to adjust it to your liking. I never adjusted the bridge rollers so that would be up to you. All in all, it's a very nice guitar both playing and sounding.
