We never know what we’ll run across! We’re pleased to offer this late ‘60s/early ‘70s Gruen Precision Day-Date automatic wristwatch. Original dial is marked “Gruen Precision/Autowind/17 Jewels.” Yellow gold-tone case with stainless back measures approx.. 42mm by 35mm. Has its original “710” automatic Swiss movement that is running. One of the holes for the strap/band pin on the lug has the remnant of an old pin in it; therefore, one cannot fit a strap to the piece unless one clears the broken piece of the pin. We’re pricing the piece as a running, high-grade 25j Swiss Gruen movement. PLEASE NOTE: While this very hip and exceedingly groovy work of Gruen wrist art is a handsome thing and runs as I write this, it MUST BE SERVICED, ie; cleaned, oiled and calibrated before it will wind and set smoothly and run as intended.
