We cannot locate it within the standard juvenile and miniature references such as Welch, Bradbury, Bondy, Osborne Collection, etc. Early/ very old plain paper wrappers, no title page, book opens to running title "History of Rome" with text. Book is physically old and shows some clear signs of handling and time. Well spotted, toned, rounded / worn corners, small hole to top right blank margin of text block Early amateur owner's simple plain manilla paper binding age worn but still appealing, remains overall attractive as a physical object of this era. Text block paper is age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly clean, tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but does not look like a new book. This is an antique old book which has been handled over the past many decades. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
