Description: This is a Hoyt Wilhelm autographed official American League (Bobby Brown pres.) baseball. When my children were younger we all liked sports. Our favorite hobby was collecting autographs of our favorite players. We were also KC Royals season ticket holders. When my children were younger it was great fun to go to the ballgame hours before game time and get autographs. We also attended several sports card shows each year. This autograph was purchased from a dealer I had dealt with over the years. We were fortunate enough to accumulate a lot of autographed items of some of the best players in baseball. Also, and at the time just as fun, we accumulated autographs of some of the roll players, hot prospects, one year wonders, characters of the game, coaches, etc. My children are older and as a family we have decided that you can either have space or you can have stuff. We have decided to compromise and go for a little less stuff and a little more space. The ball is in very good shape but has some toning as seen. The autograph is excellent and displays nicely.
