From the gut churning bottom end, through the mid-range roar, to the smooth highs. It screams with precision, clarity and power and cuts through high-gain settings with amazing definition. Featuring a Ceramic Y30 magnet and a bridge pickup wound to 21 k Ohms, the Metal Machine really packs a punch. This is our most powerful passive pickup and works brilliantly for both standard and drop-tunings. Dragonfire Crusader pickups feature oversized hex-style poles and a total of three ceramic bar magnets in each pickup for a wide, triple effect magnetic field providing full coverage and excellent hot wound responsiveness. This design allows these high-output humbuckers to excel in all things Rock and Metal. Also great for Hardcore, Punk and much more, these dynamic Crusaders cut through the mix with superb sound versatility and presence. The GuitarHeads MegametalHumbucker was designed with the super shredder in mind. The Bar design will accommodate string spacings from 48mm to 54mm, and eliminates "drop out" when bending strings. The raw & thrashy tone is packed with tons of output, and harmonic ability. The Megametal is driven by an Anisotropic Ferrite Magnet (a High-end Ceramic), and is Wax Potted for Microphonic Suppression. These pickups also feature a 5 Conductor Lead, allowing you to Tap the Coils for alternate wiring.
