Indian Challenger Motorcycle "I" Cylinder Script Decal/Sticker/Emblem

Description: Up for sale is a set of vinyl decals for the floating “I“s on the cylinders of the 2020-23 Indian Challenger with the PowerPlus liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. The decals are cut to order from Oracal 651 Intermediate vinyl, that is a 7-year, 2.5 Mil vinyl, and come in your choice of 47 different colors, ( See Picture #3 ). The decals are very easy to install, and can be done in minutes. The decals cover the Indian script “I” writing on the cylinders and make the “I” script really “pop”. The decals are very durable and will hold up well to normal washing and cleaning. The decals are not affected by the heat of the engine, in fact, the heat only makes the decals bond to a paint like finish. The only enemy is Microfiber. The best material for caring for your decals is soft cotton, like old concert shirts turned inside out, or similar. To install the decals, start with a cool engine and clean hands. 1) Clean the script area of the cylinders with rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes to remove any wax or polish that may be present. 2) Remove the decal backing. 3) Apply one or two drops of soap solution, (three drops of Dawn dish washing liquid, to 10-12 ounces of water), to the script on the cylinders. Less solution is better than a lot of solution. You just want enough fluid to float the decal into place. 4) Remove transfer paper from the decal as you begin to apply the decal onto the cylinder. Slide the decal into the best position and blot out any fluid and air bubbles with a paper towel and your finger. 5) Apply some gentle heat with a heat gun or hair dryer to seat the decal. Using your finger and some light heat, continue to lightly pass over the script writing until the decal fully adheres to the cylinder. 6) When decals are seated and stuck to cylinders, start the engine and allow motorcycle to idle for about 5-10 minutes to fully bond decals. 7) Turn off engine and allow to cool to normal room temperature. Do not touch or press on decals when engine is hot, because the decal will imprint your fingerprint, and you Will burn your finger too. 8) That’s it !! The only caution I will add is NOT to use a pressure washer to decal area when engine is hot, it may lift decals. AND……NO MICROFIBER, and do not use abrasives to clean. Decals can be waxed and cleaned just like your paint surfaces. You will receive ONE SET, (4 decals), for the “I” script area of both sides of the cylinders, in your choice of color .
