This is a 4000 Watt 240 Volt 16.7 Amp heater. At 63.5 inches long, this heater will heat an area of 10 by 10 feet at a mounting height of between 8 and 10 feet. The SL Series heaters must be surface mounted only and may not be flush mounted. The reason is that the SL-Series heater housing operates at a significantly higher temperature than the W-Series or C-Series fixtures due to the narrow profile and tight clearances to the heating element. The SL housing would exceed safe operating temperatures for wiring with restricted air circulation. The SL Series comes standard in a stainless hue anodized aluminum finish. It can also be ordered in All Black Shadow finish Compatible controls for this heater are the Simple On/Off switch, and all Custom Control options. Please keep in mind that the available Infratech heater voltages of 120, 208 and 240 are typical for residential properties, while 277 and 480 are more common for commercial.
