Description: I bought this card deck nearly 20 years ago because I have been fascinated by the origin stories behind so many things in our world today. And as a pastor, I hoped to find some appropriate invention stories that I could use as illustrations to trigger interest or otherwise connect to larger points that I was wishing to make. Don't remember whether I ever used any of these, however. In fact, during several moves, I forgot all about them and kept them in a desk drawer out of sight. So they are in very good shape! Each card is made out of durable cardstock with some kind of gloss surface. Each card reproduces on the front surface s a black lined drawing or drawings from the patent application for each respective invention. On the back side is the information about the invention. In my estimation, the drawings and descriptions would be too difficult and not otherwise interesting enough for anyone younger than high school age. I do not believe these cards are still in print, and are otherwise rare for sale as used.
