Though the breadth of the chamber and squat silhouette both suggest a Pot shape, I'm more inclined to call this Lorenzo a bent Bulldog — albeit a short and stubby one, with a triangular shank, whose taper toward the rim has been overshadowed by the robust base and thickly rusticated finish. Fitted to a uniquely shaped, saddle-esque stem, the vibrant orange hues contrast starkly against the dark stain while the curved nature of the stem offers a striking sense of negative space. It's in excellent condition all around, and comes with it's twin and the display stand making it a neat find.
