My wife picked them up at an estate sale from one of my rich neighbors. They are wicked sharp and could be used today on garments. The blades are tight- meaning there is no warping or gaps when making it's cut. I had to try it out on a manila envelope to see, and the things are AMAZING. I would definitely be careful with them. If you get a finger or some skin in the line of the cut, you will slice right through it like butter! I see several others online for less than what I'll offer.
