Description: Japanese Copper vase. There is a character of Yoshinori Shirakawa, but it was made as a souvenir after 1970. I think the materials are from that era. This is a rare item that has been converted from a shell to a vase, as indicated by the text on the bottom. The body is inscribed with the words "Showa Boshin" (winter 1928), and the name of the Minister of the Army is also listed. (Yoshinori Shirakawa)The phrase "Tenjou Muku" (boundless heaven and earth) is written in large letters. The vase has an interesting shape and a considerable artistic quality. There are several kanji characters engraved in small print on the back. The characters for 'Sho' from the Showa era and the number '2' are written, so it might be from the early Showa period. Although it's not my area of expertise, I can't say for sure, but this is definitely an old item from that time.
