Description: This is a gorgeous amberina swan dish that was made to be a powder container, and on top, a lipstick holder. This is made of amberina glass, and due to the nature of how amberina glass is made, ensures that no two are the same. This was made by the Jeanette Glass Co. circa 1930s. It is saw toothed on the top, which ensures that the dish will stay closed. It measures 5 1/2” tall, 4 1/2” wide, and 1 3/4” deep. This is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or signs of glaze loss. Please note, however, that this is a vintage item, and there may be wear or a scratch that has been overlooked. Sold as is. Amberina glass is heat sensitive glass, in that the shading is obtained by reheating the top part of the glass before allowing it to cool. This causes the glass to vary from yellow or amber on the bottom to red on the top. Please see all pics for condition, as they are part of the overall description. Please ask any questions you may have before purchase. Thank you for looking and for supporting our small business.
