Description: A "Wanted for Treason" flyer was produced by Robert Surrey, an associate of Major General Edwin Walker. Approximately 5,000 of these flyers were generated and disseminated in downtown Dallas shortly before the Kennedy assassination. They were strategically placed on car windshields and inserted into the racks of two Dallas daily newspapers by individuals opposing Kennedy's presidency. I have meticulously recreated the 12-inch by 9-inch flyer using delicate newsprint paper, similar to the original material. The paper has been aged using a chemical process to alter its color and texture. It then undergoes a secondary chemical treatment to enhance its fiber strength, resulting in a distinctive "krackly" texture and a slight transparency. The resulting reproduction is perfect for framing and is shipped in a tube, so no fold lines or creases.
