Jimmy Page Jeff Beck Yardbirds Relf Dreja McCarty 1966 US Tour Autographs RARE

Description: Rare Yardbirds authentic autographs from their 1966 US tour with the short lived Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page line up of the band with of course the original founders Keith Relf, Chris Dreja and Jim McCarty. Obtained atan autograph signing the Yardbirds did before their concert, there are photos from this signing that I can helpwhoever obtains this get. What’s important to note for collectors, is that these are vintage autographs and weren’t signed years later in the sharpie era after this legendary band broke up, which affects their value significantly as you all well know. It must be stressed that finding authentic complete sets of this particular line up of Jeff, Jimmy, Keith, Chris and Jim signed in the day, which was 1966, as they were only together for 6 months, is EXTREMELY HARD!!!! The autographs were obtained at the Civic Opera House in Chicago Illinois on August 6th 1966 (Jimmy Page’s 3rd concert ever in America) at a meet and greet before their concert (as mentioned above). Jeff, Keith and Jimmy boldly signed on the blue page and Chris and Jim on the pinkish colored page, the pages are separate and obviously don’t overlap. Comes with a note from the person who obtained these autographs that reads: I’m sending you this letter to let you know how I got the pictures (she also took some pictures) and autographs.I joined a teen club called “The Ed Pazdor” teen club in 1966 and 1967. If you bought a ticket to a concert you were able to meet the band before the show. That’s how I met The Dave Clark 5, The Yardbirds, Chad & Jeremy,Peter & Gordon & The Hollies. They sat at a table in the arena that they were playing at and we were able to meet them, get autographs and take pictures. This autograph book is also signed by Mike (Smith) and Dave Clark and the Dave Clark 5. This is a must have and not for just Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) collectors. It’s the rarity of a complete set of this band autographs, signed when they were a band (not afterwards) in this condition that collectors seek. The autograph book measures 6 1/2 X 4 3/4 and the pages are a thick mil and they are in immaculate condition,which is remarkable considering it’s about 56 years old. There are no loose pages, the only issue is theouter cover/shell on the spine is loose (see last image), it has no affect on the autograph pages whatsoever.
