Description: Carb is off a mid 1980's OMC 15 - it's a real 15 hp carb with the larger venturii not a puny 9.9 model -see Pic #5. It'll bolt right onto any 1974 to 1992 Johnson or Evinrude 15 or 9.9 for a performance boost, and it's been retrofitted with a cold start injector nipple - See Pic #3 - to work on 1993 and up remote control electric start models. Keep the butterfly choke setup on it for the earlier models or pull it off if you have one of the remote control models 1993 or later. Manual choke linkage won't work with '93-up pull-start models. Note the fuel inlet nipple is on the starboard side of the motor [ie. '74-'92 setup] but it will still fit on a '93 and up model simply by using a longer fuel hose from the pump or Tee fitting - it was last on a 1998 Evinrude remote electric that was upgraded from 9.9 to 15 HP.
