This system is from my private collection. Purchased in fall 1995 from a Funcoland in Maplewood Minnesota. I’m most likely the second owner, since it was manufactured in September of 1994. Back in the day, (before wildly inaccurate internet answers existed) in nobody knew how JVC got the rights to make these, and nobody had ever seen a JVC X’EYE in person before. It was weird and rare enough for me to pick up, even though I already had a Sega Genesis with a front loader CD drive at home. So I dropped an entire week’s paycheck on it and the rest is ancient history. Enough of the boring stuff nobody cares about, on with the details Tested, working, excellent overall condition. CD drive works perfectly, thanks to very infrequent use, always using the real power cord, and keeping the system super clean. Look at the pictures, I can’t look because if I do I may not sell this. “It’s way past cool!” As some blue critter who sounded like Steve Urkel once said. These systems and games are all from my personal collection not picked up at a junk store and flipped without any knowledge of the product or its condition In other words, not an eBay flipper. It’s just time to get rid of my old collection and hope that it all ends up in the hands of good people who will actually enjoy them.
