Using the supplied M4 x 0.75 hardware, carefully attach the K-152 to the keyboard, taking care not to cross-thread the screw or to over-tighten. Note: Some users have reported paint over-spray in keyboard’s threaded inserts providing a little resistance. Route the K-152 cable to the rear panel of the keyboard and plug it into the jack marked Rotor Pedal (Nord) or FOOT SWITCH (Hammond). If the installation is permanent, a few strips of gaffers tape can hold the cable in place and to work with your keyboard stand. Nord Keyboard set up (Nord Stage 3 Compact for reference): Hold SHIFT button and press SYSTEM button (Program 1) to access the System menu settings. Use the PAGE < and > buttons to Rotor Pedal Type. Press the Program 1 button to select Type and use the PROGRAM dial to select Half Moon. Press the Program 2 button to select Func and use the PROGRAM dial to select Rotor Hold. Press SHIFT to leave the System menu settings. Hammond Keyboard set up (Hammond SK-2 for reference): Press CONTROL button to access the Control menu settings. Use the up/down ARROW buttons to navigate to FOOT SW parameter in display. Use the VALUE knob to select DEVICE CU-1 parameter. Operation: Select the left position to set the rotary speaker simulator to SLOW (CHORALE) mode. Select the center position to set the rotary speaker simulator to STOP mode. Select the right position to set the rotary speaker simulator to FAST (TREMOLO) mode.
