Description: ***THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE DOLL*** A Simon & Halbig (S & H) was founded in 1839, they began making dolls from 1869 to 1920 in their porcelain factories in Frafenhain and Hidburghausen, near Thüringia, Germany, in 1920 they were bought by Kämmer & Reinhardt, who continued to produce dolls until 1932. Lovely Kammer & Reinhardt composition doll, with sleeping brown eyes, painted eyebrows and eyelashes, open mouth revealing four upper teeth and blonde hair wig and antique shoes. Date: circa 1930 Impressed on the back of her head: “K star R 917” "GERMANY" and "39" Dimensions doll: * Total Large 15" (38 cm) Dimensions Head: * Tall approx. 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) * Circumference around the head above the ears: 8 1/4" (21 cm) * Circumference around the middle of the neck approx.: 4 3/4" (12 cm) Condition: The porcelain head has a fissure in the left side and some damage on ear. Some hairlines on head shown in pictures. Her body is in great condition for a piece over 100 years old with its original finish. The item is SOLD AS IS, as we found. See!
