Description: Description:A studio pottery raku vase by the American studio potter Kerry Gonzalez (born 1949). This brightly colored vase features a luminescent orange, red, pink, and purple glaze with raised swirling designs throughout. The underside is of the vase is signed "Gonzalez". Born in Oakland, California, Gonzalez studied ceramics at Florida Atlantic University, where he received his undergraduate degree in 1972. He later went on to study at the California College of Arts and Crafts, the University of Southern Florida, as well as glass blowing at the Pilchuck Glass School.
