This knife is made in the USA and is a factory 2nd as indicated by the four xxxx's on the blade which signifies some cosmetic blemish was found at the factory. Usually the flaw is too small to notice. It is in excellent mechanical working order. They are sold in bulk with no box or paperwork and even though these have no factory warranty, you can contact Kershaw for any small parts for self-install if you have problems later.
