While many Kenneth J Lang bracelets are some type of bangle, hinged bangle, or by-pass bangle in style, this one is a soft link bracelet. However, it moves and dances on your wrist the same as his signature bangle bracelets. This marvelous bracelet is New Old Stock (NOS)--new, manufactured at an earlier time, never worn, and in MINT condition. Deep translucent rich green and blue "feathers" on gold-tone metal form the base for this soft link bracelet. A multitude of clear, sparkling rhinestones throughout mimic diamonds shining between the enameled feathers. The box clasp mechanism closes securely. Soft links allow the bracelet to move about the wrist as you move, causing the translucent dark blue and dark green enameled "feathers" to glitter with the clear sparkling rhinestones and the bright shiny gold-toned metal. The interior gold-tone metal is beautifully bright, shiny, and smooth and will not catch or grab any delicate clothing with which it comes in contact. ABOUT KENNETH J LANE:Kenneth J. Lane graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and moved to N.Y. in the early 1960s. He first designed for Christian Dior; but drawn to jewelry, he took the leap and launched his own brand in 1963. He quickly became known for bold and innovative designs, often inspired by high-end jewelry, but made accessible through the use of more affordable materials, such as resins, enamels, and faux pearls. Lane believed everyone should be able to own a piece of beautiful jewelry, regardless of their budget, which made him one of the most famous costume jewelry designers of all time.
