Description: Kosta Boda Bertil Vallien Misty Opalescent Glass Bullicante Vase 6"h: Superb! Thought this was Murano glass until finding one like it. It has a burnt orange rim around the mouth a 3"w lip with an almost 1"w mouth. The disk-like lip floats above the cylindrical body with controlled elliptical bubbles in a slightly curved vertical pattern. Each bubble is surrounded by opalescence and the crystal clear glass is awash with the same translucent, splashed about opal, giving the interior an interesting even exotic misty look evident in the photos. There is a crystal-clear bottom with a polished puntil mark, the polished scoop type, in the middle. No damage with some vintage movement marking on the bottom. unsigned but with a fine example of the same Kosta vase, bigger and signed. #266117615697 Here is an very similar vase on eBay which is fully signed! Same model as this one almost. 'Thank you' to the eBayer who has it; wasn't sure who made this one. Ours is smaller (6"h) with a straighter design.
