Description: This beautiful Krosno vase is a bold colbalt blue glass with a clear glass at the bottom. It is a thick glass and it is a unique shape. Round but slightly smaller at bottom and it is flattened so the opening is a marquis shape. It is a heavy and substanital piece of glass. This piece is made in Poland by Krosno Glass there are no marking so again I was researching the heck out of it and did find that it is called Sommerso. I do not see this style available online any longer, but I believe it is Mid Century as other glass similar to this was done in the 1960's. Whatever the year the vase is in beautiful condition. There are a few shelf wear scratches on the base, but no chips or scratches, that I noted on inspection. It is lovely. Happy Shopping!j
