Description: This Nepheloskan is in great working condition. I have the software that operates the unit and it will be included on a USB drive in the shipment. Very clean inside even though it has a bit of road rash outside. I took it apart so you can see how clean the inside is and also to give it a good once over to make sure it's in full working order. I powered it up and ran it through some measurement sequences based on a standard wellplate. All works well and looks to be in order. I have used this unit on several formulation projects with great success, but I'm not doing that kind of work anymore and so I'd like to find a good home for it. The software has detailed instructions on how to create custom layouts and I was able to map my own custom microplates quite easily. I've shown some images of the unit capturing sample data and the resulting numbers from the detector. It's really quite a nice unit. If you have a project that could benefit from it, it's a good piece of gear. Despite being older software (I ran under XP - so no guarantee on which OS it will or will not run under), it's quite flexible and functional. This unit has the shaker option and incubator option installed, and you can see reference to that in one of the screen captures of the software Instrument Status. All of the mechanical aspects work great - XY motor movement is solid and fast. Note, there is a locking plate for shipping that I've shown in the last picture where I've attached it in the 'lock' position. This keeps the XY movement locked in place while shipping. You have to flip this over to operate and you access it by removing the 4 screws on the back, sliding the cover back an inch and then up and off. This isn't a super heavy unit and it can ship UPS ground ok - but it is 55 pounds all packed up double boxed with Styrofoam corners between the two boxes inside.
