White Ash will soon become a very rare wood due to the Emerald Ash Borer; an invasive pest that has decimated the White Ash Population. This pest bores between the bark and wood. Birds then aggressively peck at the bark to get to the insect. This quickly kills the tree. Fortunately this pest does not bore into the lumber of the tree making the wood still usable as long as the tree is harvested in a short time. Get these blanks while they are still available.
