Description: Beautiful pair of large Chinese vases. They stand 12” tall. They have a seal that is associated with the Empress Dowager. I don’t know if they are original to her lifetime/late Qing dynasty or if they are later republican copies. The quality is very good overall. They have a nice orange peel/chicken skin glaze on the bases. The pomegranate handles are nicely modeled. The hand painted decoration is well executed. They went through a high end Boston area auction house. Condition is excellent with no flaws to note other than normal age related patination. I haven’t noticed any chips or cracks. The bright pink glaze make these vases joyful to have on display in one’s home. Shipping is asap with the understanding it may take a while to find the perfect box since they are quite large. Thanks I’ll refund any unused portion of the shipping charge minus $10 for materials/handling. Hopefully they’ll fit in a smaller box than the dimensions I gave eBay but I had to play it safe in case they didn’t. Free local pickup. Please no returns on this item.
