Description: Family Owned & Operated Since 1948 CR-1L Leecraft Zero-Clearance Insert - Craftsman Leecraft CR-1 is a zero-clearance table saw insert that fits Sears 10'' belt-drive models from 1977 to mid-2004. It is 14 inches long, 3-3/4 inches wide, and 3/16 inches thick. The insert is designed to reduce splintering and chip-out on the bottom side of regular or dado table saw cuts. To use the insert, raise the saw blade through the insert to create a kerf that matches the blade. The zero clearance concept is simple: the blade cuts its own perfectly sized slot by being raised through a machinable blank insert Most inserts are 1/2 In. thick, high-density phenolic laminate, with a bonded-melamine surface They offer superior rigidity, flatness, durability, and low friction and should not be confused with inferior HD/PP inserts They feature leveling screws, side and end adjustment screws for a vibration-free fit Rear safety pin for lift-out protection A pre-cut blade bottom pocket that provides clearance for fully retracted blades and bevel cuts. (Some inserts use OEM screws to hold inserts in place).
