Description: Preowned, and loved. This is an adorable winking Lefton Cocktail Cherries condiment jar. Marked ESD Japan Hand Painted 8390 marked. Interesting history from the 2nd edition of the Holt Howard Collectible Book: A lot of these are marked 1480 for the ones that went to the US. ESD was allocated a certain percentage of Lefton's condiment jars for import from Japan, and the remainder was imported to the United States and marked with Lefton stamps. ESD's jars were shipped to Canada and backstamped "ESD Japan" Because of their partnership identical items can be found today with two different backstamps. Please ask questions and please review all the photos carefully as they are part of the description. She has many paint chips or scuffs on her head and front of the jar lip.
