Description: Beautiful in it's minimalist simplicity, this lamp has it's quirks. Sometimes it works, others not so much. I got fresh bulbs for it and the same thing happens. Probably needs to be rewired; not something I'm willing to do. The vertical stem tilts as does the gray/beige plastic shade. It has 2 settings for illumination and can also be hung on the wall (see last pic). Attributed to Michael Lax who designed for Lightolier in the 1960's. Worthy addition for the design maven. In very good vintage condition with minor imperfections. Check pics and enlarge as they are part of the description. 14 5/8" tall x 12 3/.4" wide x 4" deep.
