A beautiful example of late Victorian Arts & Crafts, this gorgeous, hand-painted plate draws eyes and conversation! Thoughtfully painted by Lilian Lane in likely the late 19th or early 20th century, this Limoges plate features a beautiful, hand-painted Romani woman in traditional dress. This hand-painted plate is signed by the artist, Lilian Lane, in gold gilt. The blank is a 9.25” Limoges plate by Haviland, France. The Limoges plate features Haviland’s backstamp from 1893-1930. Condition: This antique portrait plate is in EXCELLENT condition! The plate has some light surface wear that does not greatly detract from the presentation of the piece, but no major flaw, damage, or repair! The painting is clean and exceptionally presentable!
