Lokar recommends you mount the cable down with some zip ties, but you have to call their tech line for that. I would also recommend this or the cable loosens over time. Additionally the kit requires a bracket and spring kit you will almost definitely need. I installed this on a 55 ford F100 with a 302 small block ford and a Holley Street Avenger carburetor.
